Ipamorelin is a synthetic pentapeptide belonging to the class of growth hormone secretagogues and was derived from the GHRP series. The literature describes the compound as a selective agonist at the ghrelin receptor, the growth hormone secretagogue receptor 1a (GHS-R1a). In preclinical research it is studied in the context of the somatotropic axis, that is, the regulation of growth hormone release from the pituitary gland. Storage

Store the lyophilised powder dry and protected from light. At 2–8 °C for short periods, at −20 °C for longer storage. Avoid repeated temperature changes. Shipping takes place without a cold chain at ambient temperature: the dry lyophilised powder is stable over the shipping period and transit times are short.
